1. Introduction

Welcome to Knowable Me.

Our mission is to achieve greater equity, empowerment, and choice by combining data with lived experience to better understand how people interact with the world.

These Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) govern your use of our website, your participation in market research activities, and how incentives and rewards are managed.

2. Eligibility and Participation

Who Can Participate

Knowable Me is designed for people whose lived experience shapes how they interact with products, services and systems.

This includes (but is not limited to):

• People with disability
• People with health conditions or access needs
• People whose personal, cultural or life experiences influence how they engage with the world
• Support networks, including family members, carers and professionals

To participate, you must:

• Be 18 years of age or older
• Be a resident of Australia

Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete and up to date to the best of your knowledge. This includes your profile details and responses to activities.

Providing false or misleading information may result in disqualification from activities and the removal of rewards.

Verification

Knowable Me may verify eligibility at any time and request additional information where required.

3. Your Profile and “My Uniqueness”

As part of Knowable Me, you may be asked questions about your experiences, context, identity and how you interact with the world.

Some of these questions may feel personal. This is intentional. We aim to understand people beyond surface-level demographics so we can match you to relevant opportunities and generate more meaningful insights.

You are always in control of what you share. You can skip questions or select “prefer not to say” where available.

The information you provide is used to:

• Match you to relevant research activities
• Generate de-identified insights for organisations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Market Research Activities

Knowable Me offers a range of activities designed to gather insights, including:

• Online surveys
• Phone surveys
• User experience testing
• Product testing
• Virtual and in-person mystery shopping

Participation is optional. You choose which activities to take part in.

Expectations

When participating, you agree to:

• Complete activities within the required timeframe, or notify us if you cannot
• Provide honest, thoughtful and relevant responses
• Maintain confidentiality where required (e.g. unreleased products or sensitive information)
• Act respectfully and with integrity when engaging with organisations or individuals

5. Incentives and Rewards

Rewards are based on the time, effort and requirements of each activity.

• Some activities provide entries into our Monthly Gift Card Draw
• Other activities offer dollar rewards, usually paid as digital gift cards

Dollar rewards are not automatic. Responses are reviewed to ensure they are genuine, thoughtful and meet the requirements of the activity before rewards are issued.

Participants are only eligible to receive a reward once per activity, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Knowable Me reserves the right to withhold or revoke rewards where responses are incomplete, inconsistent, or appear to be fraudulent.

6. Fraud and Integrity

We take the integrity of our platform seriously.

To maintain fairness and trust, we use a combination of verification processes, human review and technology to detect unusual or fraudulent behaviour. The specific methods used are not disclosed to protect the integrity of the platform.

Prohibited Behaviour

• Creating multiple accounts
• Providing false or misleading information
• Attempting to access rewards more than once for the same activity
• Any attempt to exploit or manipulate the system

Consequences

• Revocation of rewards
• Suspension or termination of account
• Legal action where applicable

7. User Responsibilities and Conduct

By participating in Knowable Me, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and honest information
• Engage respectfully with the platform, team and others
• Follow the instructions and limits of each activity
• Not attempt to game or exploit the reward system

Failure to comply may result in withheld rewards, account suspension or termination.

8. Limitation of Liability

Knowable Me will make reasonable efforts to:

• Allocate rewards correctly
• Process rewards in a timely manner

However, we are not liable for:

• Delays or failures caused by third-party providers (e.g. gift card platforms, banks, postal services)
• Technical issues or errors outside our control
• Changes to reward types or values for future activities

Participation may involve sharing personal information (within the bounds of our Privacy Policy) and using digital platforms. By participating, you accept these risks.

To the extent permitted by law, any liability is limited to the value of the reward associated with the activity.

9. Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or dispute, please contact us at research@knowable.me.

We will:

• Acknowledge your request within a reasonable timeframe
• Review and attempt to resolve the issue fairly and informally

If required, the matter can be escalated for further review, with a formal response provided.

10. Amendments to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in how we operate.

Where changes are material, we will notify you.

Continued use of Knowable Me indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia.

Knowable Me operates in accordance with:

• The Privacy Act 1988
• The Australian Privacy Principles (APPs)
• The Australian Data & Insights Association (ADIA) Code
